The distance between Kolkata and Siliguri by air is 458 km. There are number of flights available from Kolkata Netaji Subhas Chandra Airport to Bagdogra like the Jet Airways, Indigo, Go Air, Air India, Hahu Air Systems, etc.
There is no particular kolkata to dooars flight still the fastest and the cheapest way to reach Siliguri from Kolkata would be to take Spicejet. The flight will depart at 13:05 and will arrive at 14:10 in Bagdogra Airport. It will take around 2h 16m and will cost approximately Rs.1947.

From Siliguri to Dooars
Dooars is 25 kms away from Siliguri and there are two ways you can reach to Dooars from Siliguri. You can either take a bus or a Train.
The main railway station to reach Dooars from Siliguri is New Jalpaiguri Railways Station (NJP). All the passenger trains stop in Madarihat which is only 7 kms. from the Sanctuary and from where one can hire a jeep or a car to Lataguri, the gateway to the park. There ia also a Jaldapara Tourist Lodge in a walkable distance from this Railway Station. All the Mail and Express trains stop at Birpara or the Hasimara Railway Station which are 20 kms. away from the sanctuary. New Mal junction station in Dooars, is also close to several places of interest like Gorumara forest, Murti, Jhalong, Samsing, Suntalekhola etc.
After reaching NJP you will have to take a bus or a taxi or an auto to reach PCM bus terminus on Sevoke Road or the Tenzing Norgay Central Bus Terminus in Siliguri. The tourists should either hire a car or get on a bus. North Bengal State Transport Corporation Buses are available. Buses, Mini Buses and Private Buses are available from Siliguri to Alipurduar via Madarihat. After boarding a bus to the Dooars from the PCM terminus, you will have to get another bus from Malbazar to Lataguri. Or you can board a bus to Jalpaiguri and then another one to Lataguri. Soon two bus services are going to be introduced by The North Bengal State Transport Corporation one between Bagdogra airport and Lataguri in the Dooars and another between New Jalpaiguri station and Lataguri. There are a number of Dooars car rental and shared cars operated by the local travel agents outside SNT, NJP and even in the Tenzing Norgay Central Bus Terminus, you have the option to take those cars as well. For your convenience they put a small board on top of the car where the name of the places are written like First(1st) Turn Dooars, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kurseong, etc.
Way back to Kolkata
You will get private as well as state buses from the Super bus stands and Kadamtala. The buses leave at the interval of every fifteen minutes. From New Jalpaiguri Station you will get enough autos that will take you to Siliguri bus stand at the fare of Rs.15. And from Siliguri you can get a bus in Tenzing Norgay Central Bus Terminus in Siliguri to go back to Siliguri. Or if you wish to go back on a train then you will have to take an auto to NJP wher you will get trains for Kolkata and if you want to head home on a Flight then you will get bus that will take you to Bagdogra and you can get a flight ticket from there.
